Certification program are owned and operated by Evaluation and Certification Services, LLC. ECS manages and administers all aspects of the testing, evaluation of applications, and issuance of certification credentials. ECS is an independent third party certifier and is not owned or managed by any company, organization, or other entity that might participate in the certification program.

To insure industry compatibility and accurate program content, ECS has established several advisory boards consisting of industry volunteers. This includes the Certification Scheme Committee who helps to establish program guidelines and act as an appeals body for applicants, and the Technical Review Committee who reviews individual exam questions for accuracy and relevancy. As an independent third party, ECS maintains control of the program and grants certification only to those individuals who meet the written program requirements.

All of ECS's certification programs are formated and managed to comply with ISO 17024 and undergo regular psychometric analysis to insure the highest standards.

ECS is not certifying that an individual is capable of performing any specific task(s) in the field.
